University social responsibility (USR) in the context of Peruvian society: A systematic review

Background: The university social responsibility (USR) goes beyond the traditional extension and solidary projection of universities, but professional must improve develop proposals in improvement country. The objective is to carry out a systematic review scientific production related USR Peru analyse most important findings this production. Method: A articles English Spanish Scopus, Redalyc, SciELO was carried out, searching for research Peruvian context. Articles on Latin America or world were excluded. search filtering until February 2023. Several filters applied, starting with titles according equation. Then, that did not deal eliminated. Subsequently, abstracts read those meet inclusion criteria discarded. Finally, remaining analysed obtain necessary information research. Results: total 20 analysed. main results showed context seeks benefit society form ethical responsible students. However, more policies actions are needed encourage participation all universities USR. It found 65% literature had quantitative approach, 30% qualitative only 5% mixed. Conclusion: University Social Responsibility society, being students key actors their country development acquired higher institutions. implication future studies within national centres highlands jungle areas Peru, where it possible show state topic other Peru.
